    Hello, my w168 has developed this problem, error c1140 - steering angle sensor.
    BAS/ESP and ABS lights on. The problem is intermittent.
    Lights were on for 2 days then off, after one week on again for many days.
    I removed the steering wheel and cleaned contacts of the sensor with a dry cleaner, after reassembly it worked again for 2 days and now it's not working.
    Any clue how to solve this? It must be some electric problem or dry soldering as if not the sensor would just die completely. A new sensor is in the 130 / 200 euros range and I would like to avoid buying a new one.

    • Hi guys,

    I ordered a c4 mux and i will prepare my laptop now.
    I read a lot of threads, but I'm confused now.
    I have a s212 from 2009.

    Which version of xentry would be better for me, 2014 or 2017? OR did you have a better solution for me? Maybee a good acronis Image?

    I read that 2014 is better for programming offline. Is that correct?

    I need to do the synchronization of the Tachometer with the BCM. I do not know what happened but the synchro is damaged.
    Keys are written in BCM but the car does not want to start. Thank you in advance.

    • Hello!

    Last sunday, my 2004 1.1 petrol Colt ran out of battery. I tried to start the engine using a new one, but the Immobilizer icon appeared in the console. I tried to use the other key (I have 2 differents) with no difference.

    Is there a way to reset or bypass the immobilizer? Can I buy a 2nd hand one and make someone to program my two keys in the new one?

    Hi everyone, I have a 2011 tiguan that someone has stolen the ECM from it, i already got a used ECM, but I am wondering the best way to get PIN codes to match it with VCDS, I mean, vehicle's PIN and used ECM's PIN. I don't know if there is a tool to get either one before reading dump directly from ECM and Cluster or BCM, wherever it can be found. I tried with KM + immo tool and It doesn't work. Or if there's no other way but reading dump, I hope you could tell me what would be the easiest way to get them.
    Any help would be really appreciated.

    if I correct the mileage in an Audi A7 / Touareg 7P everything works fine, all moduls take the mileage from the dash, but the engine modul still have the original mileage, any idea how to reset this?

    I changed it with digiprog3 (original) and with smok, both have this problem. also i tested a speed freezer for the new audi q7 it also works fine, but the engine modul still count the original mileage.

    you can read this out with the simle VCDS, engine -> advanced measurements -> LOC. IDE01922/IDE01923

    any idea how to fix this?
