Hi mates, normally i am "mercedes man" and now i am in trouble with Volkswagen Touareg 7L 3.0 V6 engine BKS.
Short history. Car was stolen before 2 years here in germany. Police found car in spain before one year. Car did not start anymore. Then, they picked up the car back to real owner in germany. He gave the car to the local workshop. Car not starting, this workshop changed parts like camshaft position sensor and crankshaft sensor. Then, they said after 6 months that they cannot help. So, customer payed and picked up the car to the next workshop. They readed trouble codes and after a short time, they said that they cannot help. Again, customer payed and picked up the car to the third workshop. The owner of this workshop is a mate of me. He removed the commonrail pump and gave it to a service with test bench. Test bench man said, pump damaged. Ok, mate of me bought new pump and mounted it to the car. Rail pressure 400 bar, car not starting again. With start spray, engine runs. He checked compression and timing, everything fine. Then, he decided to check the piezo injectors. He shipped them to a service with testbench. Testbench man said, 4 of 6 injectors are damaged. So, he gave them money to repair the 4 damaged piezo injectors. He mounted them back to the car and coded them with VCDS. BTW, VCDS did not show any trouble codes.
Then, he called me for help. All of these people who worked on the car have nothing to do with ecu programming, coding or anything..
Yesterday, i was on the car. I checked voltage supply on ecu, everything fine. Steering lock unlocks, starter cranks but car not start. I readed dtc with VCDS and FVDI, nothing. I checked sensor voltage supply 5V with oscilloscope, fine. Then i checked injector supply with ampere clamp. Nothing. So, engine does not start because no voltage to all injectors bank a and bank b. Ok, i thought, perhaps problems with immo. I readed eprom and made immo off. Car not starting. Then, i readed flash and checked with my genuine winols. I found, dtc area erased. So, i find ori flash with correct sw number and wrote it back to the ecu. Car not starting.
But now, i was able to read the diagnostic trouble codes ! :-)
I have got the following dtc:
- 005669 Drive train Can-Bus. Implausible signal from transmission control unit. P1625 - 011
- 005633 Relay power suppy (J317) implausible signal. P1601 - 001
- 004160 Injectors power supply bank a - electric circuit malfunction P1040 - 005
- 004162 Injectors power supply bank b - electric circuit malfunction P1042 - 005
Ok, now i have seen i am on the right way with lost voltage supply on piezo injectors. Like i said, i found with oscilloscope before. I decided me to check the ecu hardware. ECU is EDC16cp34. I disassembled ecu and i have seen while disassembling it was opened before. It looks like a brand new MPC processor and 1 brand new voltage regulator, i have to say, it looks very professional.
So, i powered it on bench with proper power supply and made my measurements. I know, piezo injectors works between 100 and 160 volts. I found idle voltage after transformator 230 volts. Looks fine. I have these 230 volts on 2 mosfets, these should be for injectors supply. I was wondering, one big mosfet, one small mosfet. I think, ecu is ok ?!
Situation a little bit difficult, car is 50km away.
Now, i found an information in internet from smaller VW line 4 cylinder engine with piezo. If on piezo has a different resistance, all injectors stop working because ecu cut voltage to the inectors. The same on V6 engine ? If one injector on V6 has the false resistance, i think, just one bank should stop working. I cannot believe on both banks are injectos damaged ?! You remember, injectors were in service workshop for repairing.
1. Can anybody help with wiring diagram for this car ?
2. What can be the cause for shut down both injector banks ?
3. Do you have any idea ?
Like i said, i repair 90% mercedes. So, i am not experienced with VW piezo common rail engines...

Hi all, I have been searching for hours looking for a HQ ICOM Next A Clone.
So far I have not found any clones with internal WIFI as the Genuine have. Lots of online stores sells them as WIFI versions, but in product images there is D-LINK WIFI dongle. Some advertise through domains/sites which contains information about ICOM Next with images of the PCB that I am looking for, but when you try to access the product you get redirected to their store which sells ICOM Next with external WIFI (dongle)

if I wanted to program a spare key I understand that I need the car security key but when the tech2 asks for security access how do I get the option to code a new key, do I need tis2000 or is the security key for the car the only thing, also if the key is not available is there any way to get the key from the ecu? specifically Vauxhall uk.

Hello to all, 2003 honda accord it was blowing air little for the side front vents, nothing from center, little from foot vents and defrost, no matter what button I push to change direction, still the same. Checked the mode motor see if it was stuck or dirty linkage , also remove the motor linkage they are free, bought a new motor it does the same as the old one. if I want air from vent only push the button nothing changes, push the button for air to feet and front vent, motor is trying to turn but just bounces back forth like it was stuck. remove from the heater a/c housing still will do the same as the old one. Anybody has any ideas? thanks for your time.
