    Hi, Happy New Year to all.
    I have a Vito Van , the EGS control is damaged, cannot be read by diagnostic, I got another unit would like to know if someone know the SCN coding , I did programming and coding by Xentry, but get error of gear 1 slipping or faulty coding, can someone advice.

    Hi!

    First of all, I wish to all MHH members Happy New Year!

    Tonight I got an "urgent" call from a customer of mine, who was in trouble with his Skoda Octavia 1.2 TSI engine until the way back home...

    Today I checked the car and the EPC is on the dash and the car is in LIMP mode.
    - 4000rpm is max
    - no power until the engine is shut off and started again.

    VCDS sas:
    1 Fault Found:
    10478 - Charger Pressure Control Actuator
    P334A 00 [036] - Electrical Malfunction
    Intermittent - Not Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
    ....

    I Know about the actuator problem on this type engine where a fix would be a distancer washer.
    I checked the actuator immediately and saw something strange.
    A distance washer was fitted on.
    I checked does the shaft from the actuator is freely moving and yes, nothing wrong with that.
    It moves really nice without any problem.

    I deleted the DTC and test drive the car, and voalla! the DTC comes back, engine loses power....

    I have to say:
    The car was bought several months earlier, something like 5-6 months ago, 
    so the spacer washer was fitted some time before the car was bought by my customer.

    Is there any calibration what should maybe done after fitting this spacer?
    Or any idea in which direction to turn now with the repairing?

    The major problem is, my customer has to go home in two days (2000km far) and it would be nice if I could 
    fix the car in the next 2 days...

    Looking for a sanity check from some fellow Volvo techs!!

    I have a 2011 Volvo VNL in the shop, has a D13.

    2 codes that I am chasing down root cause, first being VGT abnormal update rate second being DPF regen too frequent. I can already tell that the non functioning VGT is causing the code for the DPF regen too frequent, obviously since the VGT is not functioning properly, regens cannot complete.

    In troubleshooting I have come to the FE8 Fuse in the underhood fusebox blowing out everytime the ignition is keyed on. Since this fuse has a shared power with 2 other fuses, and the other two are not popping, is it safe to say that the fusebox is shorting internally on that individual pin?

    I have never run into issues inside this fusebox before, so im wondering is anyone has had to replace the entire fusebox for issues like this before?

    i bought a 2012 peterbilt 384 with a paccar engine in it. I dont know much about diesel engines but i think is an mx13 if not 
    mistaken. i bought the truck in an auction, i get the truck get a couple of batteries in it  crank it and it said that the engine was 
    derated and that it needed an regen done. i get jpro i manage to do a regen and once done all codes  clear shut down the engine 
    and next thing  when fired back up  is  engine power disable due to engine protection.   get codes and is throwing  2 codes
    p1106 engine protection system
    p1560 engine protection system  EGR failure,    fuel  derate.

    has any body or any one with knowledge in piterbilt or paccar engines help me diagnose if the Egr valve is really at fault. 
    does any one knows  if i can open up the egr valve and maybe fix it or do  something to make work, or does it need to be replaced for sure

     later in the  day i will check for 12 volts at the connection of the egr valve make sure i am getting current and ground to rule that out. Also another thing  is that the egr now in the truck seems  pretty new,  it seem that it was  replace not long ago.

    any one in here ran into the same problem with the egr  is it a common problem in this trucks. how often do the egr valves go out?  this is a very expensive part compare to others engine   brands

     im in the process of  getting the truck  running correctly and get to work locally.  

    any suggestion or  recommendations will  be gladly appreciated  also  does any one know how to calibrate the egr if i buy one  from the dealer?

    dealership  want to charge me almost what the truck cost me, i cannot  afford  to have them replaced  it.

    Cracked xHP Flashtool allowing you to unlock, read/write your custom 6hp gearbox tune files for free. (8hp too, not tested)
    Along with the cracked .apk you will receive 6hp gearbox database which contains the models(see attachment) with all the 3 Stages (1,2,3) decrypted + ori files.
    DB contains 6hp gearbox files fitted along with various engines like M47/N47, M57/N57,N55, etc.
    So apart from being able to flash the remaps right in your TCU via the xHP cracked app, you are also able to compare the changes in WinOls as the files are decrypted.

    The cheapest remap xHP offer for the normal user and only for ONE car is:
    6hp :General license 6speed - 119$  + stage1 - 49$ 
                                                            stage2 - 69$
                                                            stage3 -  89$
           :Super license with include all stages for 249$

    The cheapest for Pro xHP user is 129EUR for Super license per ONE vehicle.

    hi,
    :

    simple high level guide to run epc 2018.11 with latest WIS. Basically valid for any WIS.
    No patches, fixes or temporary solutions. Just isolate the EPC installation.


    1) Use windows 10 as host system
    2) Enable Hyper-v
    3) Install windows 7 as a VM (generation 1, gen 2 does not work with win 7).
    4) Inside the VM:
    * Disable firewall
    * Assign external IP to the VM so it can be reached inside your home network (Google -> exteranal ip hypervisor - )
    5) Create external harddisk and attach to this VM 
    6) Install EPC on this VM
    7) Change the usual parameters to increase Java HEAP
    8) new: change in \ewa\config\core_cfg.xml: localhost to 0.0.0.0
    (total entry looks then like: <PARAMETER name="httpHost">0.0.0.0</PARAMETER>
    9) Now you reach your EPC through: IP of the vm/usual postfix (<PARAMETER name="httpHost">0.0.0.0</PARAMETER>


    If you want to isolate more, just copy the VM (hint: Make a basis win 7 with all patches installed and just replicated), assign new ip etc.

    I tried several methods for accessing restricted areas of the eeprom, unsuccessfully, such as accessing the EEPROM directly, using a CH341A, and modifying it to 5V, or trying to access the IC172 in bench mode.

    Now, it's in bench mode, and so, it can stay like that for awhile, until, hopefully, somebody gives me a key.

    Hi to all friends

    How are you?

    Happy New Year to all.

    Pls does anyone have a code off dump for the following radio label?

    Eprom 24c16
    This radio does not accept its own code 

    Even when I power on in display appears SAFE 1 then goes to 1000 and it is ready for code
    When i digit its factory code goes to SAFE 2

    I even changed dump and changed 24c16 and again the same

    Did anyone face the same problem before?

    So i think to get rid off this problem A CODE OFF DUMP WILL BE GOOD
