While i establish connection to my BMW m4 f83 with ista-d 3.51.31 & istap 3.56.4, the clone icoma2 some how just dis-connected the Ethernet ip and then after a few seconds it connect again, it happens while i'm diagnosing the f83. All this time the car engine was running. with voltage kl15 at 13.21 & terminal30 at 13.21 volts

Hi all, i have problem with Bmw x6 E71 during diagnostic FRM3 modul crash without reason. No communication possible , i have try ncs expet. tool32 , NFS , Ista-p but no responding . I have x-prog box 5.551 i can read and write mpu motorola S9 but i dont have sure dump and im noy sure wreer is flash and eerom . I have read flash but eeprom sems to by empty . My FRM3R harware number is 9224618 , and after update is 9342897 , I am grateful for any help
I created Windows XP Pro 32-bit WMware virtual machine image that has BMW standard tools 2.12 installed and updated with currently what I believe is the latest version of sp-daten(v56).
There are plenty of DIY tutorials how to setup BMW standard tools, and how to use them. For me personally, the hardest part was to figure out how to setup everything to work correctly and how to update to the latest daten. Using the tools was pretty straight forward with the help of instructions found on various sites. Therefore, I think that this download may be helpful to those people who had a hard time with BWM Standard tools installation and configuration.
While running the same copy of this virtual machine on my Windows 10 laptop, I was able to accomplish the following:
-Connect to my car ECU using INPA and scan for error codes and get information on different modules.
-Register car battery using Tools32.
-Code (activate/deactivate) various options such as mirror folding and window roll up with key fob, seat belt alert deactivation, and digital speedometer activation using NCS-Expert.
-Flash Alpina B3 TCU software using WinKFP.
NCS-Expert was updated with v56 daten for e89 (e9x), e60 and e65 models, but only used on e92. WinKFP was only updated for e89. However, daten files are downloaded to the machine. Those who are interested, can unrar them and update WinKFP for their car.
I confirm that this setup has worked for me without any issues (so far it was only tested on my 2010 BMW 335i), and I take no responsibility for if anything goes wrong for you while using (or misusing) it on your car. If you choose to download the image, and use the preinstalled set of tools, you agree to do it at your own risk.
That being said, you will need a laptop running Intel processor (it cannot be AMD because virtual machine won't run). I suggest Intel dual core and at least 4 GB of RAM and 80 GB of free space on your HDD/SSD.
The virtual machine is configured to use 70 GB of hard drive space and 3 GB of RAM. Those parameters can be modified in Workstation Player to better match the specs of your host machine before the virtual machine is started.
I am using OBD cable with a green board that I bought of Ebay for $30, and it did not fail me once. Lastly, you will need to download VMware Workstation player which is free software if used non-commercially.
hello everyone I am having trouble with a 2011 Iveco trakker with a BC and aMET warning.When I check at dashboard the faults are :
BC221 42 00 65
BC221 43 00 67
MET26D C8 06 1
MET26D C9 06 1
Icant find a fault code listing for the iveco so any help is appreciated.
I know that Bc221 is the body module and MET is the chassis module but I cant figure out what the fault codes mean
I had a radio married to my car and lost battery power. The radio came up locked. Reconnected the Tech2 with 148.000 software like before, divorced the radio and tried to a marriage to rejoin the car.
Only it came back with Negative Response anytime I try to do a marriage. The serial number on the radio was garbled, no longer a number. So I got a second radio with it's VIN number and did the procedure to change the car's VIN, divorce the radio, change the car's VIN back, and do a marriage on the radio. This worked before on the first radio, but again, I got a negative response on the marriage. I checked and the Negative Response's are identical. I noticed also SPS function on Tech2 was not working either. So I reflashed my PCMCIA memory card for the Tech2 and my SPS function worked again. But the marriage of the radio still has a EHU Entertainment Head Unit, Negative Response: 7F 3B 12, DID Number: 90, BTR640.c, line 1285. Anyone have any ideas how to get the radios back?
