    recently started getting "etsmart usb not present" error in etsmart software. and shows all pins ok even with pins disconnected. software freezes untiill i unplug the iprog etsmart usb cable.

    The noob is back. Got the C4 mux fixed, so making sure the system I bought has developer mode enabled and is recognizing all the modules in my 2011 W212. Been reading a lot, and it seems you need to have a minimum version of Xentry for W212, and even then there may be issues.

    I don't see myself reprogramming modules or needing to change tire sizes, but I do want to make sure I'm getting what was paid for. I have used this system a few times, lowering the Airmatic for example.

    I am running Xentry 17.9.2.4 09/15. CAESAR is 1.2.16.0. ASAM is 8.8.14.

    Are there many developer data options for the W212? Have not gone through every module but not seeing any yet. Confident dev mode is enabled, person who built/sold me the system guarantees it. I did see it running simulations using the W211.

    The other thing I noticed is no detection of a module for brakes/ABS. There is no SBC in the US W212, but it surprised me to not see anything to test the brake subsystem. Maybe this is normal. Stability control is detected, but it's mainly steering tests checks.

    Hi guys!

    I've been trying to figure out how i can update my Smart Roadster.

    I read that you have to find control module programming. But I can't seem to find it anywhere.

    Could someone please write me a step by step guide once you have read the vehicles VIN number and are on the first menu with quick test and system etc?
